Rules & Regulations

Program guidelines for World Golf Network members.

By becoming a member of World Golf Network, you agree to abide by the following rules and regulations. These guidelines ensure a professional, enjoyable, and fair experience for all members and guests.

Pace of Play

  • Pick up your ball after double par on any hole (e.g., hitting 8 on a par 4 would be your last stroke)
  • If your ball goes into a hazard, spend no more than 2 minutes looking for it. After 2 minutes, take the penalty and drop a new ball
  • All golfers must keep up with the group in front of them. Slow golfers may have to skip a hole if not keeping pace

Golf Carts

  • All players will use golf carts (included in program fee)
  • During the round, you are responsible for the cart – please drive carefully
  • World Golf Network assumes no responsibility for golf carts

WGN Guest Policy

  • All guests must be owners, partners, or senior executives of their firm
  • Guests are permitted based on chapter availability
  • Maximum of 50 golf reservations for any individual WGN outing
  • Guest fees: $350 per individual for golf outings, $150 for non-golf members
  • No more than four member businesses of the same major industry category
  • No more than two businesses of the same specialist industry category

Liability Waiver

  • World Golf Network shall not be held responsible for any injury suffered at WGN events
  • WGN shall not be liable for any injury from conditions at host golf courses
  • Members waive and release WGN and event sponsors from present and future claims
  • This applies even if claims arise from negligence or fault of WGN or sponsors

Permission for Use of Media

  • Members grant permission to use photographs, motion pictures, and recordings
  • WGN may use email addresses for legitimate purposes
  • Records of participation may be used for promotional purposes without reservation

Weather Policy

  • No rain dates or refunds for inclement weather
  • Weather conditions vary by location
  • Members must attend the outing to receive a free day of golf credit
  • Golf credit only given if member is present at the outing

Membership Participation

  • Only members permitted to play unless invited as a guest
  • Guests must receive authorization from WGN chapter leader

Guest Invitations

  • Members may invite up to 3 guests (based on availability)
  • Minimum 2-week notice required
  • Authorization needed from WGN chapter leader

Guest Rates

  • Golf program guest rate: $350 per guest per outing
  • Non-golf guest rate: $150 per guest per outing

Payment Methods

  • Accepted: Cash, Check (payable to World Golf Network), all major credit cards
  • Cash or check payments must be paid upfront annually in full amount

Deposit Policy

  • All deposits are non-refundable unless application is denied

Monthly Membership Charges

  • Monthly charges automatically billed to credit card
  • Billing occurs first week of each month for 12 months
  • Members responsible for updating credit card information

Membership Renewal

  • Membership automatically renewed after 12 months
  • Contact office within 15 days after expiration to cancel renewal

Membership Application

  • Apply online or offline to become a WGN member
  • When upgrading or downgrading, remaining days counter resets
  • New plan starts fresh upon tier change
